Job summary

Virginia Family Dentistry is seeking a skilled Dental Accounts Receivable Coordinator for our Huguenot location. The role features standard hours 8 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday, and a non-exempt hourly position.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of dental office experience and an understanding of dental billing, balancing and maintaining patient accounts daily, posting procedures, and handling payments. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of dental office experience.
• Understanding of dental billing and patient accounts.
• Balance and maintain patient accounts daily.
• Posting completed procedures, processing payments, and billing.

Responsibilities

• Answer and document patient billing questions and calls.
• Identify and collect overdue patient account balances.
• Work independently and communicate clearly with staff and patients.
• Collaborate with Insurance Coordinator on account issues.
• Take patient payments and present treatment plans per policy.
• Update patient billing addresses and perform month-end close.
