Job summary

Delta Dental of Minnesota is seeking an Associate Care Coordinator to support Government Program members in accessing dental services and scheduling appointments. You will coordinate transportation or interpreter needs when applicable and work with dental offices to ensure timely care.

Responsibilities include confirming attendance, following up after visits, and assisting customer service based on workload.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and human relations skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing with professionals and staff.
• Basic PC skills including Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Minnesota Government Programs.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, coding and benefits.
• Basic understanding of claims processes and systems.
• Strong organizational and file management skills.
• Ability to prioritize to meet regulations and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Government Program members in obtaining access to dental services.
• Assist Government Program members in scheduling dental appointments.
• Arrange transportation and interpreter services when applicable.
• Coordinate with dental offices and make reminder calls to members.
• Follow up after appointments to confirm attendance and need for further care.
• Assist customer service based on forecast and call volume.
• Other related duties as assigned.
