Job summary

Delta Dental of Minnesota is the leading regional provider of dental benefits, dedicated to helping Government Programs members access care and understand benefits. The Associate Care Coordinator schedules appointments, facilitates transportation and interpreter services, and tracks follow-ups with dental offices and members.

Collaborating with case managers and a team of professionals, you ensure confidential handling of member information and accurate documentation using basic PC applications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 1 year handling Delta Dental of Minnesota phone inquiries.
• Knowledge of Minnesota Health Care Programs preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, coding and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist Government Program members in obtaining access to dental services.
• Arrange transportation and interpreter services when applicable.
• Coordinate with dental offices and make reminder calls to members.
• Follow up after appointments to confirm attendance and determine further care.
• Assist customer service based on forecast and call volume.
• Other related duties as assigned.
