Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of patterns including shapes, grading, fit implications and alterations.
• Experience capturing and organizing fit comments and notes during fittings.
• Denim garment-construction knowledge including seams, finishes and stitch types.
• Ability to interpret design intent into clear technical direction.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight timelines.
• Proficiency with industry tools such as Illustrator and PLM for tech packs.
• Professional experience as a Technical Designer or related role; not entry-level.

Responsibilities

• Participate in fit sessions and capture detailed fit comments and construction notes in real time.
• Evaluate garment fit and balance on live models or forms and communicate adjustments.
• Update and maintain detailed tech packs with measurements, construction details, BOMs, specs.
• Partner with Patternmaking and Product Development to align changes with fit direction.
• Review prototypes and SMS samples for construction quality and consistency with specs.
• Communicate fit and construction updates across internal teams clearly.
• Troubleshoot construction and pattern issues to improve fit and cost efficiency.
