Qualifications

• Ability to interpret design intent into clear technical direction.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight timelines.
• Proficiency with industry tools such as Illustrator and PLM for tech packs.
• Professional experience as a Technical Designer or related role; not entry-level.

Responsibilities

• Participate in fit sessions and capture detailed fit comments and construction notes in real time.
• Evaluate garment fit and balance on live models or forms and communicate adjustments.
• Update and maintain detailed tech packs with measurements, construction details, BOMs, specs.
• Partner with Patternmaking and Product Development to align changes with fit direction.
• Review prototypes and SMS samples for construction quality and consistency with specs.
• Communicate fit and construction updates across internal teams clearly.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Participate in fit sessions and capture detailed fit comments, measurements, and construction notes in real time.

• Update and maintain detailed tech packs, including measurements, construction details, BOMs, and specifications.
• Partner with Patternmaking and Product Development to ensure pattern changes align with fit direction and brand standards.
• Review prototypes and SMS samples for construction quality, stitch details, finishing, and consistency with approved specifications.
• Communicate fit and construction updates clearly and accurately across internal teams.
• Troubleshoot construction and pattern issues to improve fit, consistency, and cost efficiency.
