Job summary

Jeans Innovation Center LLC in Gardena, CA, part of Fast Retailing, seeks a Production Management and Innovation Manager to lead denim development and mass production initiatives.

You will oversee R&D with mills, coordinate wash technologies, improve sustainability, and ensure on-time delivery for tens of millions of garments a year, traveling internationally as needed. Bachelor’s in SCM/Industrial Engineering and 5+ years of factory management experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM or related field with 5+ years in mass production.
• Experience in denim fabric development and quality control in factories.
• Knowledge of weaving technologies and dyeing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead denim fabric R&D with mills and evaluate yarns, dye performance, and fabric construction.
• Oversee denim wash/finishing tech development including ozone, laser, and DPI control.
• Coordinate capacity, cost, lead times, and equipment needs for mass production.
• Travel 6-7 times per year to factories and provide technical guidance to ensure QA.
