Job summary

Ventra Health is seeking a Denials Specialist (Accounts Receivable) to analyze collections, follow up on denials, and resolve billing issues for our clients. This role emphasizes accurate documentation, timely appeals, and collaboration with payers.

You will review EOBs, use billing software and Excel pivot tables, and ensure claims are paid according to client contracts. A High School Diploma or GED is required; HFMA/AAHAM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing and claims resolution.
• Knowledge of EOBs and payer rules.
• Ability to read and follow contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on claim rejections and denials to maximize reimbursement.
