Job summary

Ventra Health seeks an Accounts Receivables Escalation Specialist to analyze collections, resolve complex billing issues, and follow up on payer denials. You will write appeals, review unpaid or denied claims, and ensure adherence to client contracts while meeting production standards.

The role requires basic medical billing knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment with offshore engagement experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with preferred professional certification.
• Experience in medical billing and claims resolution is desirable.
• Knowledge of payer rules, EOBs, and coordination of benefits is expected.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on claim rejections and denials to ensure reimbursement.
• Process AR work lists in a timely manner as assigned.
• Write appeals using guidelines to resolve denials.
• Identify and resolve denied or unpaid claims due to coverage or auth issues.
• Communicate with insurance companies about claim status and follow-up actions.
