Job summary

Ventra Health in the United States seeks an Accounts Receivables Escalation Specialist responsible for analyzing collections, resolving non-payables, and handling bill inquiries for complex issues. The role ensures claims are paid per client contracts and compliance with billing standards.

You will follow up on denials, process AR work lists, write appeals, and communicate with insurers to resolve accounts while meeting production and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year data entry and one year medical billing experience preferred.
• AAHAM and HFMA certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on claim rejections and denials to ensure appropriate reimbursement for our clients.
• Process assigned AR work lists in a timely manner.
• Write appeals using established guidelines to resolve denials with a goal of a one-contact resolution.
• Identify and resolve denied, non-paid, or non-adjudicated claims and billing issues.
• Review correspondence to determine problems and take follow-up actions.
• Respond to insurance company claim inquiries and communicate status.
