Job summary

EnviroVantage, Inc. seeks a Demolition Supervisor to oversee staff and subcontractors across environmental construction projects. Responsibilities include on-site coordination, safety, and client interface, with hands-on site work as needed.

Requirements include 1+ year in asbestos/demolition, 2+ years in construction, blueprints, OSHA 10, HAZWOPER 40, and a 40-hour Asbestos Supervisor certification. Valid driver's license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as an asbestos, demolition or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years related field experience with construction.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 required. If not current, willing to get.
• 40 hour Asbestos Supervisor certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews and subcontractors.
• Coordinate onsite work to meet schedules.
• Ensure safe, efficient project execution and adherence to work plans.
• Manage crew labor and equipment time to maximize productivity and meet budgets.
• Interface with clients professionally.
• Oversee delivery and off-loading of supplies and materials.
• Complete daily field reports.

Servicing projects Nationwide, and across the Caribbean, EnviroVantage

is recognized as a trusted authority for all Government, Commercial & Industrial projects involving proper Hazardous materials handling and Demolition.

The Demolition Supervisor will be responsible for the direct oversight and management of staff and subcontractors working on diverse environmental construction projects. Openings available working in demolition, restoration, earthwork and storm water. This position may also require hands‑on site work to have projects completed on time and efficiently.

Essential Functions

• Supervise and direct field crews and subcontractors
• Coordinate onsite work
• Responsible for getting job completed in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure implementation of project specific work plans
• Manage crew??s labor and equipment time to achieve maximum

productivity and meet budgets

• Interface and communicate with clients in a professional manner

Experience

Working Environment/Physical Demands:

• Must be able to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using a force equal to lifting 50 to 100 pounds.

• Qualified Candidate must be able to pass a physical examination by medical professional for the anticipated work requirements.
• Must be able to pass a background check and be able to obtain access to military bases across the United States.
• A valid driver's license is required, as well as a safe driving record as measured by company policy.

Compensation

• Compensation Range: \\$27.00 \\$30.00/hour
