Veit Management, Inc. seeks a Demolition Safety Manager to identify hazards, enforce health and safety standards on project sites, and support accident prevention programs. The role emphasizes field engagement, training, and ensuring regulatory compliance with OSHA and related agencies.

The position requires OSHA 30, strong communication, and at least 2 years in construction or related sectors. Travel and drug testing are prerequisites for employment, with a focus on proactive safety

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in construction, waste, and/or transportation industries.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Working knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with coworkers, management, subcontractors, and regulators.

Responsabilités

• Investigates safety incidents, near misses, workers’ comp issues, and property damage; determines root cause and mitigation.
• Performs site safety audits and provides coaching and training.
• Writes site-specific safety programs and Health and Safety Plans.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, MDH, MPCA, DOT and other regulations.
• Provides training and back‑up support for Safety Coordinator.
