Rhode Island Commerce seeks a Project Engineer to join our demolition-focused team in Cincinnati, OH. You will support the Project Manager and field crew, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence while upholding quality standards.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to grow into a larger project management role, with 1–3 years of experience and a 4-year degree.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of demolition, construction, engineering, or project coordination experience preferred; internships may count.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with day-to-day project coordination and administration.
  • Review plans, specs, contracts, and other project documents.
  • Assist with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, supervisors, and clients as needed.
  • Track project schedules, procurement, materials, and outstanding items.
  • Maintain accurate project records, meeting notes and correspondence.
  • Assist with project cost tracking, timesheets, invoicing, and forecasting.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and completeness.
