Job summary

SA Recycling – South Texas Region is seeking an Offsite Demolition lead man to join our values-based organization. The role is based at our Brownsville, TX facility and requires leading the crew, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring safety and productivity.

You will work with the Foreman or Supervisor, monitor quality and schedule adherence, train staff, and maintain a safe site while supporting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
• Background check and credit check required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; foreign education acceptable.
• Bi-lingual English & Spanish a plus.
• Strong communication and basic math skills.
• Understanding of metal market for pricing and production demands.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Must pass a medical physical and drug test
• Must pass a background check and credit check
• Preferred – high school diploma or GED and/or foreign education acceptable
• Bi‑lingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus
• Ability to: communicate with others effectively; understand direction (written or oral) and use basic math skills as the job demands
• An understanding of the metal market well enough to negotiate pricing, delivery process, and production demands
• Possess interpersonal skills to gain support of workforce and clientele when conducting business

Qualifications

• 3-5 years minimum experience in Supervising others
• Experience in Demolition including the use of tools and equipment

• Work Environment: Office and Scrap metal yard
• Equipment & Tools: Office equipment, general tools, and training with mobile equipment
