Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in Glenview, IL is hiring full-time and part-time Dementia Caregivers. A C.N.A. license is not required to apply, though we welcome applicants with CNA certification or relevant caregiving experience.

You will provide hands-on care to seniors in our Memory Care community, assisting with daily living tasks, promoting engagement, and maintaining accurate records. High standards of care and teamwork are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care to residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living for assigned seniors.
• Promote socialization and participation in activities while prioritizing safety.
• Document daily care and report changes to supervisors.
• Maintain high standards of care, safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with toileting, hygiene and incontinence care as needed.
