Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Ann Arbor is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide high-quality, patient-centered senior care across weekdays and weekends in the Fenton, Brighton, and South Lyon areas. Your duties will include delivering person-centered dementia care, assisting with housekeeping and meal preparation, and aiding clients in personal care needs.

Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of HIPAA regulations are essential for this role.

Overview
SYNERGY HomeCare is an independently owned and operated national company renowned for high‑quality home care, and we are we’re hiring a dedicated caregiver to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered senior care across weekdays and weekends, with a schedule of up to 30 hours per week.

We're recruiting for various schedules on weekdays and weekends in the Fenton, Brighton and South Lyon areas.

Duties

• Deliver person-centered dementia care that provides safety, dignity and meaningful engagement

• Assist clients with housekeeping, meal preparation, and verbal medication reminders

• Aid clients in their personal care needs including showering, dressing, and toileting.

Skills

• CNA or HHA certification is preferred but NOT required.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.

• Proficiency in cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and information handling.

• Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required (current CNA sandwich not required)

• Experience with children is preferred but not required.
