Job summary

Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living in Glen Mills, PA, seeks an Activities Associate (Intermissions Associate) to enhance residents’ daily lives through engaging programming. You will co-lead social activities, support dementia-impacted residents, and transport participants to events in a compassionate, person-centered environment.

The role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends, with compensation starting at $17 per hour, commensurate with experience, at an established continuing-care

Qualifications

• Patience and genuine interest in working with residents living with dementia.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends preferred.
• Ability to design, implement and adapt engaging activities for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead social activity-based programming for Intermission participants.
• Adopt a person-centered approach to meet residents' needs.
• Design and implement creative programming.
• Lead activities and transport residents to and from programs.
• Assist in mealtime preparations.
• Complete daily attendance records.
• Attend in-services and training to enhance skills.
