Job summary

Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living is seeking an Activities Associate (Intermissions Associate) to bring compassion to residents and families in our intermissions program, addressing challenges related to dementia.

Compensation starts at $17 per hour, with pay commensurate with experience. The role includes co-leading activities, designing programming, and assisting with transport and mealtime tasks within an on-site setting at Maris Grove in Glen Mills, PA.

Qualifications

• Patience, flexibility, and genuine interest in dementia care.
• Flexibility in schedule including evenings/weekends.
• Programming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead social activity-based programming for Intermission participants.
• Adopt a person-centered approach and an environment that supports residents' needs.
• Design and implement creative programming.
• Assist in program operation by leading activities and transporting residents to/from programs.
• Engage in mealtime preparations.
• Complete daily attendance records and attend trainings to increase knowledge.

How you will make an impact
