Job summary

Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living in Glen Mills, PA seeks a Programming Manager to lead the Continuing Care program. You will plan, develop, and direct activity programs aligned with residents’ needs, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and County regulations while promoting independence.

The role emphasizes therapeutic and recreational programming, staff supervision, budgeting, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Erickson Senior Living’s philosophy and Vision statement.
• Promotes an active, healthy, independent lifestyle for residents.
• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs activity programs for Continuing Care.
• Adapts programming to residents’ physical and cognitive abilities.
• Assesses resident needs and contributes to holistic assessments and care plans.
• Documents weekly schedules, assessments, and care plans.
• Reviews assessments to ensure appropriate programming.
• Participates in Interdisciplinary Team Care Planning.
• Market CC programming to residents, families, and staff internally and externally.
• Create weekly schedules and event flyers for each neighborhood.
• Develops, administers, and coordinates departmental policies and procedures.
• Designs therapeutic and recreational activities using specialty skills.
• Identify supplies, order materials, and manage distribution.
• Hire, supervise, evaluate, and appraise CC program staff.
• Supervise programming staff on a daily basis.
• Pursue professional growth through conferences and training.
• Coordinate outside resources and on-site educational programs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory documentation requirements.
• Contribute to yearly budget planning and cost reporting.
• Maintain department budgets and financial records.
• Educate staff and volunteers on residents’ needs and interventions.
• Develop in-service programs for staff and volunteers.
• Create partnerships across departments to foster a home-like atmosphere.
• Participate in CC QAPI, operations meetings, and financial reviews.
• Coordinate resident entertainment, trips, and intergenerational programs.
• Support Memory Care programs and resident choice in activities.
