Job summary

Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living in Glen Mills, PA, seeks an Activities Associate (Intermissions Associate) to enhance residents’ daily lives through engaging programming. You will co-lead social activities, support dementia-impacted residents, and transport participants to events in a compassionate, person-centered environment.

The role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends, with compensation starting at $17 per hour, commensurate with experience, at an established continuing-care

Compensation: Starts at $17 an hour, commensurate with experience.

How you will make an impact

• Co-lead social activity-based programming for Intermission participants
• Adopt a person-centered approach and an environment that supports the needs of each individual resident
• Design and implement creative programming
• Assist in program operation by leading activities and transport residents to and from programs
• Engage in mealtime preparations
• Complete daily attendance records
• Attend in-services and other training to increase job knowledge and skills in working with participants

What you will need

• Patience, flexibility, and the sincere interest and desire to work with residents affected by dementia
• Programming/activity experience is preferred
• Flexibility in work schedule to include evenings/weekends
