Job summary

Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living in Glen Mills, PA is seeking a Program Assistant to enhance residents' well‑being through engaging activities. You will tailor therapeutic and recreational programs to residents' needs and interests, working with the Programming team to create meaningful experiences.

The role requires at least 1 year of geriatric or activities-related experience, flexibility to work weekends and evenings, and a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of geriatric or related experience; education may substitute.
• 1 year as Activities Assistant in a licensed health care facility preferred.
• Experience leading groups with varying physical/cognitive independence preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate structured and impromptu resident activities.
• Escort residents on trips, ensuring safety.
• Collaborate with team and volunteers to deliver programs.
• Monitor and report changes in resident needs to Programming Manager.
• Manage supplies and equipment, ensuring safety and functionality.
• Participate in team discussions on programming and schedules.
• Prepare and implement activity programs per guidance.
• Lead group and individual activities.
