Job summary

Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment seeks a Brain Health Generalist to coordinate ADRD initiatives, including the DREAM program, and to support statewide partnerships and contract management across Colorado.

The role includes managing clinician education, respite coordination, and stakeholder engagement to advance dementia awareness and access to services within a collaborative, public health framework.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of relevant experience in public health, healthcare, human services, aging services, or a closely related field with program or project management, contract or grant management, stakeholder engagement, and/or implementation of related programs or activities.
• Or a combination of education with experience equal to six (6) years.
• If using education to qualify, provide transcripts or diploma with your application.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) initiatives, including DREAM and ADRD-related Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP).
• Manage contracts and project implementation activities, including clinician education, respite coordination, and statewide partnerships.
• Support implementation of evidence-based and community-informed strategies to improve dementia awareness and access.
