Job summary

SHI International Corp. in New Jersey is seeking an IDCS Operations Demand Planner to develop integrated business management processes across functions and align demand planning with supply chain optimization to enhance the customer experience.

This role relies on Lean/Six Sigma methods to improve processes, manage strategic data projects, and coordinate data definitions with stakeholders. The position reports to the IDCS Manager - Demand Planner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required.
• 3+ years in a Business Supply Chain, Demand Planning or similar role.
• Ability to travel 10%.
• Experience with data center environments and IT operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, operations, IT, and finance to improve processes across functions and manage the supply chain.
• Develop shipment planning processes that begin at order placement.
• Identify data quality improvements across data management systems, processes and standards.
• Review project forecasts and timelines to account for lead times and logistics.
• Ensure fast access to metrics by streamlining data collection and analysis procedures.
• Manage inventory requests and sales order management, updating stakeholders from presales to shipment.
• Monitor aging inventory and adjust strategy based on pipeline and vendor lead times.
