Job summary

SHI International is seeking an Operations Demand Planner to align demand planning with supply chain optimization for improved customer experience. The role will require collaboration across sales, operations, IT, and finance and will focus on creating efficient shipment and inventory planning processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), 3+ years in supply chain or demand planning, and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• 3+ years in a Business Supply Chain, Demand Planning or similar role.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX for ERP tasks (order tracking, inventory, financial reporting).
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to understand customer needs and build long-term relationships in a consultative manner.
• Knowledge of data center design, operation and maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, operations, IT, and finance to align demand planning with supply chain strategy.
• Develop shipment planning processes starting at order placement.
• Review forecasts and timelines to account for equipment lead times and logistics.
• Streamline data collection and analysis for fast access to metrics.
• Execute inventory requests and updates to stakeholders while following policies.
• Monitor aging inventory and recommend strategies based on pipeline.
• Request inventory to meet project requirements and safety stock minimums.
