Job summary

SHI International is seeking an Operations Demand Planner to align demand planning with supply chain optimization for improved customer experience. The role will require collaboration across sales, operations, IT, and finance and will focus on creating efficient shipment and inventory planning processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), 3+ years in supply chain or demand planning, and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• 3+ years in a Business Supply Chain, Demand Planning or similar role.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX for ERP tasks (order tracking, inventory, financial reporting).
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to understand customer needs and build long-term relationships in a consultative manner.
• Knowledge of data center design, operation and maintenance is preferred.

This role will be expected to align and synchronize demand planning with supply chain optimization and shipment planning, to enhance the customer experience. This position will rely heavily on Operational Excellence techniques (i. e. KaizenLean 6 Sigma with working knowledge of Kanban methodologies.) to improve processes and remove delays within our organization, as well as the management of strategic data enhancement projects, primarily in the areas of supply chain and customer master data management. The individual will be tasked with managing initiatives and projects in the areas of process improvement, demand planning, forecast and project planning. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for providing data definitions, acting as a liaison between stakeholders, establishing quality expectations, and monitoring compliance to those expectations. This position will report to IDCS Manager - Demand Planner.**Role Description*** Responsible for working with sales, operations, I. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
