Job summary

Prime Matter Labs, a leading personal care product manufacturer, is seeking a Production Planner to help develop weekly/monthly production schedules and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet forecasts and delivery targets.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, forecasting accuracy, and collaboration with purchasing and production to optimize capacity and meet client requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain management, or other related field.
• 2+ years of related work experience in manufacturing industry is required.
• Previous experience in supply chain demand planning is an asset.
• Possess knowledge and experience in forecasting, data analysis, and supply chain management.
• Exhibit the ability to be analytical and support analysis with data.
• Experience in personal care, cosmetics, CPG, nutraceutical, or other FDA-regulated manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and demand-planning tools or ERP planning modules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel.
• Familiarity with production planning software.
• Organized, efficient and detail oriented.
• Ability to manage in a complex and fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Identify production needs and help set quotas and other metrics for production.
• Develop weekly and monthly production schedules with production staff.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and shipping teams to meet monthly sales targets.
• Prioritize client orders and coordinate project needs with the production floor.
• Prepare reports to track progress against monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts.
• Analyze risks in the Master Production Plan considering lead times and capacity.
• Support on-time delivery to customer request dates.
• Support S&OP process by reconciling demand with capacity and supply constraints.
• Track forecast-accuracy KPIs and lead root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with purchasing to manage raw-material and component availability.
• Maintain data in ERP/MRP to support reliable planning.
• Assist in developing yearly revenue budget by consolidating forecasts and firm orders.
• Follow up with customers on delivery dates for customer-supplied materials.
• Analyze long-term forecast impact on equipment capacity and site assignments.
• Provide site planners with data to drive a four-week production schedule.
