Job summary

HARIBO of America in Rosemont, IL seeks a Manager, Demand Planning to lead US demand planning for high-volume retailers and distributors. This on-site role reports to the Director and collaborates with Sales, Brand, and NA management to forecast demand and drive alignment with promotions and product launches.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in demand planning (CPG preferred), hands-on SAP/IBP experience, and a track record of building accurate forecasts and mentoring a team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of total work experience in demand planning or related roles.
• 5+ years of demand planning & demand forecasting in the CPG industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
• Demonstrated expertise using an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, or other ERP systems - SAP IBP strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Demand Planning process for US retail and distributor partners.
• Predict future customer needs; this is not a supply or inventory planning role.
• Provide accurate demand forecasts and continuously fine tune forecasts.
• Collaborate with National Account Managers, Sales Directors, and Brand Managers to assess trends and promotions.
• Provide monthly demand reviews and develop accurate forecasts using industry trends and historical data.
• Create and manage data sets (SAP, IBP) into financial reporting structures for root cause analysis.
• Present to senior HARIBO of America leaders including NA Management and C-suite Executives.
