Job summary

HARIBO of America is seeking a Manager of Demand Planning to lead the US demand planning process for high-volume retail and distributor partners. You will develop accurate forecasts by analyzing industry trends, historical data, and consumption patterns, and you will present insights to senior sales and marketing leaders.

The role requires 7+ years in demand planning, SAP IBP experience, and a background in the CPG industry.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of total work experience in demand planning or related roles.
• 5+ years of demand planning & demand forecasting in the CPG/Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
• Demonstrated expertise using an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, or other ERP systems – SAP IBP strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Demand Planning process for retail and distributor partners across the United States.
• Predict future customer needs as accurately as possible; not a supply/inventory planning role.
• Provide accurate demand forecasts and continuously fine tune forecasts.
• Collaborate with National Account Managers, Sales Directors, and Brand Managers to assess trends and promotions.
• Present to senior leaders including the North American Management team and C-suite Executives.
