Job summary

LG Electronics USA is seeking an experienced Demand Planning professional to lead CPFR activities with major national accounts and to maintain forecast accuracy across multiple product lines. The role requires collaboration with sales, marketing, and finance to align forecasts with retail replenishment and inventory targets.

Responsibilities include leading CPFR meetings, gathering market intelligence, managing forecast models, and collaborating with supply planning for production schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or relevant field.
• 7+ years demand planning or relevant experience.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Understand CPFR to effectively manage forecast.
• Strong written, verbal, and in-person communication skills required as this position interfaces with customers directly.
• Strong relationship builder.
• Excellent data analysis skills.
• Solid business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Host and lead weekly CPFR meetings with external buying teams and internal Sales and Product Marketing teams.
• Gather and incorporate market intelligence to produce the best possible operational forecast through CPFR tools and processes.
• Manage model-level demand planning responsibilities for assigned accounts/retailers.
• Manage weekly purchase order requests, intake, and maintenance, and work with accounts to manage optimal inventory to ensure in-stock targets.
• Balance inventory across network - WH/store level with accounts.
• Produce recurring and ad-hoc reports using internal/external data sources.
• Collaborate daily with Sales on forecasting, inventory, and order maintenance.
• Lead weekly internal S&OP meetings.
• Coordinate with supply planning on long-term forecasting for production schedules.
