Job Requirements
Role Summary

The Demand Planning Manager oversees and optimizes demand planning processes to ensure accurate forecasting, inventory management, and alignment with strategic goals. Responsibilities include data analysis, performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration to improve supply chain performance and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Demand Planning and Forecasting:
    • Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on sales data, market trends, and insights.
    • Manage override/min/max planning to optimize inventory levels and meet demand.
    • Conduct S&OP to align forecasts with supply capabilities and goals.
    • Monitor fill rates to ensure product availability.
    • Manage stock profiles and codes for product availability and efficiency.
  2. Data Interpretation and Analytics:
    • Analyze data related to performance to inform planning decisions.
    • Use analytics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
    • Prepare reports on planning performance and insights.
  3. Inventory Management:
    • Monitor and manage dead/overstock inventory.
    • Track inventory turns for efficiency.
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  4. Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
    • Develop systems to track process effectiveness.
    • Implement system enhancements for accuracy and efficiency.
    • Drive process improvements to reduce costs.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work with sales, operations, finance, and marketing teams.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize product flow and supply chain performance.
Work Experience & Skills
  • 3-5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent).
  • Experience in redistribution or distribution industries.
Work Environment

Primarily office-based with modern amenities, collaborative spaces, and remote work support. Occasional travel is required for meetings and industry events, domestically and internationally.
