What You’ll Accomplish:

We are seeking an accomplished Supply Chain professional with people leadership experience to lead our Demand Planning team. Our Demand Planning Manager will be a strategic partner to our Sales, Finance, and Supply teams in delivering to our retail customers. This individual will be based out of our Burlington office, where we work a required hybrid schedule of in-office Monday through Thursday each week, and remote on Fridays. Candidates must reside within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance from our Burlington office.

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversee existing demand software process across 3 different Channels to generate a baseline monthly statistical forecast.
• Understand market intelligence from sales, finance, and distributor network, and review the inputs against “market result” analysis to incorporate and adjust the baseline statistical forecast.
• Identify and analyze gaps between plans for decision and resolution during the S&OP cycle.
• Lead a monthly Consensus Demand Plan review process and meetings with Sales, Finance, Supply/Operations to ensure agreement.
• Align demand plans to business objectives through understanding and translating unit demand plans into revenue/income projections.
• Provide Monthly reporting on KPIs (Forecast Accuracy, Demand Volatility, Inventory Turns) and corrective actions to improve performance.
• Partner with Supply Planning to ensure alignment between forecasting, planning, and materials strategy.
• On-going refinement of forecasting strategy to drive continuous improvement.
• Support special projects/process improvement activities as requested.
• Routinely maintain data inconsistencies, own historical data integrity, and collaboratively apply ‘period type’ logic to protect the integrity of baseline demand history.
• Help facilitate formalized discussions resulting in the 18-month rolling consensus demand plans at multiple levels of aggregation.
• Oversee New Product/Promotion Introduction (NPI) and support successful customer promotion execution.
• Continuously participate in the financial planning process by proactively identifying gaps between financial plans and forecasts; make recommendations to help close those gaps, and then follow through.
• Document and communicate action and decisions taken to support strategic initiatives.

In addition for this role, we are seeking:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
• 5+ years of CPG demand planning and supply chain planning experience within diverse manufacturing environments or consumer products industry verticals.
• Strong Cross-functional leadership and communication skillset with the ability to work, influence, coach, and partner with local and remote team members to drive results and long-term adaptable changes.
• Experience use of statistical forecasting, analysis techniques, process flow mapping.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated capability to solve problems and make decisions.
• Advanced Excel to quickly conduct ad-hoc analysis and automate routine tasks.
• Hands-on experience with implementation of demand planning or ERP software.
• Hands-on experience with MRP, purchasing, and production planning systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Very strong problem solving & analytical ability.
• Establish solid organizational skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at once, last-minute requests, and quick turnarounds with a positive attitude.
• Ability to do process mapping and project management.
