Job summary

LHH is seeking a Demand Planner in Edison, NJ to support forecasting, inventory planning, and overall supply chain operations. You will analyze demand trends, identify risks and opportunities, and help ensure optimal inventory levels to meet business needs.

Responsibilities include developing forecasts, analyzing historical data, and partnering with multiple teams to drive accurate demand plans and inventory strategies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in the CPG world in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, replenishment, or a related area.
• Experience working with ERP, forecasting, or inventory planning systems.
• CPG, consumer products, retail, or related industry experience preferred.
• Experience with POS data, inventory analysis, and replenishment preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and turn data into actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts across customers, products, and channels.
• Analyze historical sales, inventory, seasonality, promotions, and product trends.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and other teams to identify changes in demand.
• Support inventory, supply, and production planning based on forecasted needs.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, inventory levels, variances, and potential supply risks.
• Support new product launches, promotions, product transitions, and discontinuations.
• Assist with budgeting and ongoing forecasting activities.
• Prepare reports and provide insights and recommendations based on demand trends.
