Job summary

The Hershey Company in Hershey, PA is seeking an Analyst, Demand Planning to translate market insights, promotions, and seasonality into accurate US demand forecasts. You will own forecasting for assigned lines and collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to align assumptions and drive service levels.

Responsibilities include maintaining planning tools, analyzing data, supporting new product launches, and delivering timely reports that inform inventory and financial decisions

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Analytics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data-driven focus.
• Experience working with forecasting, planning systems, or analytics tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own line-item demand forecasts for assigned customers, categories, and product segments.
• Analyze historical sales, shipments, promotions, and consumption trends to develop demand projections.
• Integrate promotions, new product launches, planogram changes, seasonality, and baseline trends into forecasts.
• Maintain forecast inputs to ensure completeness and alignment with planning processes.
• Continuously improve forecast accuracy and reduce error against targets.
