Job summary

Grundfos in Brookshire, Texas is seeking a Demand Planner to translate demand signals into optimized production schedules and drive planning excellence to ensure on-time delivery across our manufacturing operations.

The role reports to the Supply Chain Supervisor and focuses on SAP-based production planning, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in Lean initiatives. On-site work in Brookshire is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience in production control or 5+ years in inventory control or machine scheduling.
• Strong SAP (production planning modules) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Understanding of closed-loop manufacturing principles and MRP theory.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules in SAP based on demand, material availability, capacity, and priorities.
• Analyze workload, capacity utilization, and bottlenecks across work centers to balance production flow.
• Monitor material readiness, identify shortages, and coordinate with Purchasing, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to maintain continuity.
• Maintain planning parameters, lead times, lot sizes, routings, and production versions in SAP with data validation.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales to communicate priorities and support delivery commitments.
• Identify opportunities to improve schedule adherence, inventory control, and delivery reliability in Lean/Operational Excellence initiatives.
