Job summary

Grundfos in Brookshire, Texas is seeking a Demand Planner to translate demand signals into optimized production schedules and drive planning excellence for on-time delivery and operational efficiency. The role is on-site in Brookshire, TX and reports to the Supply Chain Supervisor.

Responsibilities include developing SAP-based production schedules, balancing workload, coordinating with Purchasing, Logistics and Warehouse, and maintaining planning data to support Lean and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in production control, or 5+ years in inventory control or machine scheduling.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP (production planning modules) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Understanding of closed-loop manufacturing principles and MRP theory.

• Analyze workload, capacity utilization, and bottlenecks across work centers to balance production flow and improve throughput
• Monitor material readiness, identify shortages, and coordinate with Purchasing, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to maintain production continuity
• Maintain accurate planning parameters, lead times, lot sizes, routings, and production versions in SAP through routine data validation
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales to communicate priorities, resolve issues, and support delivery commitments
• Identify opportunities to improve schedule adherence, inventory control, and delivery reliability in support of Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives

This position reports directly to our Supply Chain Supervisor and is based in Brookshire, Texas, operating on-site daily.

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. The salary range for this position is $66,900USD – 98,100USD. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Brookshire, Texas.

What you will be doing
