Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Demand Planner for our Fort Worth, TX manufacturing facility. The role connects customer demand with production capacity and material availability to support reliable delivery of electrical infrastructure.

This hands-on, on-site position aligns labor, capacity, and materials to create executable schedules and maintain inventory health. The role requires 3+ years in demand or production planning, ERP/MRP experience (SAP preferred), and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 3+ years planning experience in demand, production, material planning or related manufacturing environment.
• Experience executing planning activities and supporting manufacturing operations.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and SAP is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office for data analysis and planning.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Willingness to work on-site at the Siemens Fort Worth facility.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop demand and production plans by analyzing historical data and capacity constraints.
• Translate demand into executable production schedules across labor, capacity, and materials.
• Monitor inventory and MRP signals to identify shortages or excess inventory.
• Coordinate planning execution across manufacturing, procurement, materials, logistics, sales, and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain planning data in ERP/MRP systems to improve schedule accuracy and visibility.
• Support S&OP activities by consolidating demand, supply, capacity, and inventory insights.
• Analyze planning performance using Excel, SAP, and other tools to improve forecast accuracy and delivery performance.
