Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Windsor Locks, CT, is seeking a Demand Planner for a hybrid role. You will manage customer orders, forecasts, and return units across the lifecycle, ensuring timely fulfillment and insight into product lifecycle challenges.

The role involves supporting the SI&OP team, presenting to a broad audience, and responding to customer inquiries. U.S. citizenship and a university degree are required; SAP and MS Office experience are preferred.

The Demand Planner will manage customer purchase orders, demand forecasts, and Zero Hour Returned Units throughout the customer lifecycle, ensuring timely fulfillment and identifying opportunities to improve product and supply planning.

What You Will Do:
  • Manage and be responsible for all aspects of Customer Purchase orders from initiation to fulfillment.
  • Manage and be responsible for all aspects of Customer demand forecast
  • Manage and be responsible for all aspects of Customer Zero Hour Returned Units, gaining insights into product lifecycle management and the challenges associated
  • Support SI&OP team – Giving presentations to a wide audience (Demand Reviews)
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Displays experience using SAP
  • Proficient knowledge using Microsoft Office products
  • Experience communicating with external customers and key internal stakeholders
  • Experience generating reports and evaluating large amounts of data

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
