Job summary

Crestron Electronics, a leader in automation and control solutions, seeks an experienced Demand Planner to drive strategic demand forecasting and inventory alignment. You will analyze market trends, forecast demand, and collaborate across Sales, Finance, Product, and Supply Chain to support sales objectives and high service levels.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in demand planning, strong data analytics, and proficiency with ERP and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in demand planning or related analytical roles.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros).
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Experience with Kinaxis, SAP APO, Oracle Demantra or similar planning software.
• Experience with integrated ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Expertise in quantitative forecasting methods (moving averages, regression, time-series).
• Ability to interpret historical data and communicate forecasts clearly.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our supply chain team and lead strategic demand planning initiatives. This role requires a data-driven professional who can analyze market trends, forecast customer demand, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure optimal inventory levels, support sales objectives, and maintain high service levels. A successful candidate will play a critical role in driving business growth through accurate demand forecasting, strategic planning and cross functional alignment.

Responsibilities

Forecasting & Planning

• Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts using statistical models and business intelligence.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to improve forecast accuracy.
• Monitor forecast performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Utilize advanced analytics tools to manage demand planning processes.

Collaboration

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management and Supply Chain teams to align demand plans with business objectives and qualitative information.
• Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings to present forecast insights, recommendations and consensus planning to key stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Partner with supply planning, procurement, and operations teams to ensure demand signals are effectively communicated throughout the supply chain

Continuous Improvement & Reporting

• Identify opportunities to enhance forecasting models and processes.
• Lead initiatives to improve data quality and streamline planning workflows.
• Prepare regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and demand variability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Research, Statistics, or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or related analytical roles
• Data Analysis & Reporting

• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools for visualization and reporting.

Per applicable state requirements, the annual pay range for this position ($71,000 - $101,500) which consists of base salary (subject to performance), reflects the hiring range for candidates. Also note, an individual’s offer may vary from this range as it may be impacted by additional factors, including but not limited to the candidate's hiring location, qualifications, experience, and market factors.
