Job summary

Chantecaille is seeking a Demand Planning & S&OP Manager to lead forecasting, S&OP, and inventory across the US, Canada, LP.com, and Spa channels. You will ensure accurate demand signals, cross‑functional alignment, and optimized stock while harmonizing planning with Global Planning.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast, plan, and manage retail and shipment forecasts across North America.
  • Partner with Sales to incorporate trends, promotions into the demand plan.
  • Lead semi-annual demand reviews and S&OP meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Communicate stock risks and define mitigation plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting tools and processes.
  • Coordinate harmonization of S&OP with La Prairie and Chantecaille.

Role Purpose/Mission:

The Demand Planning & S&OP Manager leads forecasting, S&OP, and inventory management for the US, Canada, LP.com, and Spa channels. The role ensures accurate demand signals, strong cross‑functional alignment, and optimized inventory levels while driving continuous improvement and harmonizing planning processes between La Prairie and Chantecaille.

Main Accountabilities
Forecasting & Demand Planning
  • Manage retail and shipment forecasts for all saleable and non‑saleable SKUs across North America.
  • Partner with Sales to incorporate trends, promotions, and business drivers into the demand plan.
  • Conduct semi‑annual demand reviews and lead ongoing S&OP meetings with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Communicate stock risks and define mitigation plans with stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, planning tools, and process discipline.
  • Lead harmonization of S&OP processes, data standards, and reporting between La Prairie and Chantecaille in partnership with Global Planning.
New Product Introduction
  • Build new product forecasts using global benchmarks and local insights.
  • Track performance vs. projections and adjust plans to manage shortages or excess.
  • Ensure all launch‑related items are planned and delivered on time.
Inventory & Freshness Optimization
  • Improve product freshness through better demand accuracy, lifecycle planning, and inventory controls.
  • Identify actions to reduce aged inventory and optimize stock levels.
Lifecycle & Business Analysis
  • Determine stop‑ship timing for discontinued SKUs and analyze post‑returns results.
  • Provide ongoing insights on assortment changes and support ad‑hoc business analysis.
