  • Role Description The Demand Planning Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for partial work from home.
  • This role is responsible for developing and maintaining demand forecasts across all product lines, using historical data, market trends, and promotional plans to support accurate planning. The Demand Planning Manager will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, operations, and finance to align forecasts with product launches, campaigns, and inventory strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring forecast accuracy, analyzing variances, and adjusting plans; overseeing inventory levels to avoid stockouts and overstock; and coordinating production planning to ensure on-time product availability. The role also involves preparing regular planning reports, identifying risks and opportunities, optimizing safety stock, and supporting continuous improvement in the end-to-end supply chain planning process.

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience

  • strong Demand Planning and Demand Forecasting skills to develop, manage, and continuously improve short- and long-term forecasts.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets and planning tools, to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
  • Experience in Production Planning and Inventory Management to balance service levels, working capital, and operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and operations best practices, ideally within beauty, cosmetics, or consumer packaged goods.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills to work effectively with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and comfort in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency in demand planning or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar) is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in a managerial or lead role within planning or supply chain functions is preferred.
