Food Lion in Salisbury, NC seeks a business expert to develop, implement, and manage the Demand Management System's forecasting capabilities. You will guide strategic demand planning that supports brand strategies, inventory targets and supply chain objectives.

The role collects and merges data to create unified forecasts, applies forecasting methods, and uses variance analysis to drive improvements in forecasting and replenishment across the organization. Occasional travel is expected.

Formación

• 1–3 years in category, pricing, logistics, supply chain, procurement or distribution.
• 3–5 years in demand planning or forecasting.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Economics, SCM, Logistics, IT.

Responsabilidades

• Own forecast accuracy and inventory targets for the Demand Management System.
• Maintain data entry and data quality in the Demand Management System to support forecasting accuracy.
• Measure, analyze and create short, mid, and long-term forecasts; maximize item-level forecast accuracy.
• Execute exception-based analysis to identify drivers in forecast variances and implement improvements to forecasting and replenishment.
• Analyze and execute Demand Management System processes for new items, store and market events.
• Collaborate with Super Users to enhance system capabilities and optimize models.
• Coordinate growth projects and lead weekly/monthly demand consensus meetings to establish Sales and Operations Planning.
• Occasional travel to brand retail locations and distribution centers (8–10%).
