Job summary

Envista Holdings Corporation seeks a detail-oriented Buyer/Planner I to support inventory and production planning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Pomona, CA. This onsite role manages purchase orders and production work orders based on demand signals and forecasts.

You will collaborate with cross-site partners, adjust procurement settings, and contribute to KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR high school diploma with 2+ years of relevant planning/purchasing experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and familiarity with MRP/CRP/MPS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Place inventory Purchase Orders (POs) based on e-Kanban signals and business demand.
• Release production work orders based on forecast from remote sites.
• Coordinate with site and cross-site teams on changes in demand/forecast and adjust procurement settings accordingly.
• Attend KPI site meetings and report on action items.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) and annual physical inventory.
