Job summary

Envista in Pomona, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer/Planner I to support inventory and production planning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will manage purchase orders and production work orders based on demand signals and forecasts, coordinating with cross-site partners to ensure material availability.

The role emphasizes data-driven procurement adjustments, response to changing demand, KPI reporting, and involvement in Kaizen/5S and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2 years of planning experience.
• Experience with purchasing, supply chain or manufacturing planning.
• ERP familiarity: Oracle, SAP, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of MRP/CRP/MPS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Place inventory purchase orders (PO) based on signals and forecast.
• Release production work orders based on site forecasts.
• Coordinate with domestic and international sites on demand changes.
• Report KPI findings and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Support annual physical inventory.
• Travel up to 10% domestically and potentially internationally.
