Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking a Manager of Financial Systems to oversee the firm’s ERP and related systems, focusing on Deltek Vantagepoint and integrated platforms. You will supervise system administration, upgrades, testing, and documentation across project planning, accounting, HR, and other service areas.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, 5+ years with Deltek Vantagepoint, and collaboration with multiple business units to implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of Deltek Vantagepoint administration/consulting/development.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles as applied to Deltek products.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Experience with EleVia products including Invoicing, Payables/Tracking, AR/Collections is a plus.
• Deltek Vantagepoint Certification a plus.
• Experience in the A/E/C industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize business systems including user management, security configuration, and data integrity.
• Serve as SME on Deltek products (Vantagepoint, Vision, Ajera) and other business systems.
• Document business requirements and objectives for Deltek Vantagepoint and integrated systems.
• Recommend and implement best practices for system configurations and business process improvements.
• Lead testing of upgrades, patches, and releases in Dev, Sandbox, and Production on-premise environments.
• Collaborate with developers, consultants, and external resources to implement complex changes.
• Ensure documentation and training of platform changes for business users and stakeholders.
