Job summary

Commonwealth Associates, Inc. is seeking a firsthand Deltek expert to own Deltek Vantagepoint, enhance data integrity, and streamline reporting. You will partner with Finance & Accounting to optimize processes and lead M&A related integrations across ERP, financial, and business systems.

You will design database objects, optimize T‑SQL queries, and guide data migration from due diligence through full integration. Strong cross‑system collaboration and problem-solving are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years working in Deltek Vantagepoint in a functional/technical role with firsthand system ownership.
• SQL Server expert: advanced T-SQL, query optimization, indexing, performance tuning; familiarity with ETL tools a plus.
• Strong understanding of data models and integration patterns (APIs, flat-file exchanges, scheduled jobs).
• Experience supporting integrations with HRIS/Payroll, CRM, and BI platforms.
• Business acumen: finance/accounting flows; able to partner with Finance.
• Troubleshooting: advanced diagnostic skills across applications, data, and integrations.
• Communication & collaboration: stakeholder mgmt; translating requirements to technical deliverables.
• M&A & migration experience: system lead through mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Own Deltek Vantagepoint configuration, security, and day-to-day support.
• Manage release cycles: impact assessments, testing, configuration, upgrades, patches, new features, deployments.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the Deltek ERP ecosystem; ensure root cause resolution.
• Design and maintain SQL Server objects, reports, integrations, and data quality processes.
• Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for reporting and integrations.
• Manage data across Deltek, HRIS, CRM, payroll, data warehouse, and BI platforms.
• Lead data migration initiatives with mapping, validation, testing, and auditability.
• Lead M&A related integrations and data strategy from due diligence to full integration.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, IT, Finance, and consultants for continuity during transitions.
