Job summary

The Bergaila Companies is seeking a DeltaV Technician III to support a major LNG facility in Sabine Pass, TX. You will diagnose, maintain, and optimize DeltaV DCS to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring diagnostics, performing backups and updates, assisting with installations and upgrades, analyzing alarms, and training operators to foster safety and continuous improvement. Some travel or onsite presence at Sabine Pass may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience with DeltaV control systems in an industrial environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across DCS hardware and software.
• Familiarity with AMS Optics is a significant plus.
• Solid understanding of process safety, environmental standards, and regulated LNG operations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex assignments and coordinate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to ensure seamless plant operations.
• Monitor DeltaV diagnostics, perform routine backups, updates, and security protocols.
• Support installation, commissioning, and system upgrades in compliance with safety and technical standards.
• Analyze system alarms, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance to ensure operational excellence.
• Document configurations, maintenance activities, and system changes accurately.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
