Job summary

Lilly is seeking an MES Engineer for the new API manufacturing site in Houston. You will support design, development, delivery, and validation of the DeltaV MES solution to meet operational, quality, and regulatory needs.

You will configure MES recipes, electronic batch records, and logbooks, while ensuring 21 CFR Part 11 and GAMP 5 compliance. This role requires close collaboration with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related technical field is required.
• 5+ years experience with MES design, implementation, and validation in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site teams to gather requirements and define digital workflows.
• Configure MES recipes, workflows, and electronic batch records.
• Validate and test MES configurations (IQ/PQ) and CSV deliverables.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and SOPs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global MES architects.
