Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company is seeking an MES System Engineer for the Lebanon, Indiana site. This role focuses on designing, developing, delivering, and qualifying MES solutions to support a new API manufacturing facility.

You will partner with process automation, operations, and Lilly Global Tech to implement MES recipes and interfaces while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. The position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a track record in MES/DCS integration

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Understanding of GMP regulations (FDA) for pharma manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of Computer System Validation processes.
• Aptitude to analyze and resolve complex technical and operational issues.
• Ability to prioritize and elevate issues when needed.
• Demonstrated learning agility and curiosity.
• Experience translating quality controls into IT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deliver, and qualify the MES solution for the Lebanon API facility.
• Collaborate with process automation, operations, and global Tech at Lilly teams to implement MES recipes and components.
• Maintain site IT roadmap with local and global teams.
• Ensure regulatory, quality, and lifecycle documentation for MES implementations.
• Act as SME for MES IT systems and support site audits as needed.
