Job summary

Amgen Rhode Island is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Systems Engineer to support complex automation initiatives and DeltaV-based processes in a state-of-the-art facility. The role emphasizes project leadership, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management within a GMP environment.

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree and hands-on experience in process automation engineering, with a focus on DeltaV systems, batch control, and validation practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with process automation engineering in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with batch control systems and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to commercial manufacturing focused on process control and automation infrastructure.
• Collaborates with manufacturing, process engineering, maintenance, QA and validation teams.
• Performs root cause analysis and troubleshooting for process control issues, mainly DeltaV.
• Supports new product introductions and technology transfers through engineering assessments and configuration changes.
• Develops and presents results for operational issues and engineering projects of small scope.
