Job summary

NECI seeks an experienced automation leader to develop cross-domain solutions, lead technical proposals, and shepherd projects from front-end consulting through delivery. You will collaborate with BD and account teams to meet sales targets and drive billable consulting engagements.

The role requires on-site presence in the New England region, travel to customer sites, and deep DeltaV/Rockwell experience across data, control, and manufacturing intelligence systems.

Qualifications

• 10 years engineering experience in shop floor industrial systems as a consultant, developer, designer or integrator.
• Automation systems including Emerson DeltaV and Rockwell PLC systems.
• Manufacturing intelligence systems including data historians, visualization, reporting and analytics.
• System integration across automation, manufacturing intelligence, MES, quality, ops, supply chain and lab systems.
• IA/ISPE standards knowledge and life sciences regulatory familiarity.
• Cross-domain and cross-industry experience across solutions.
• Broad, deep, product-agnostic knowledge in area of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop a plan for achieving product and service sales targets and lead the technical portion of proposals.
• Serve as the primary technical resource during sales pursuits; identify suitable technical solutions for customers.
• Estimate proposal scope, define team roles, and ensure delivery teams are ready to implement.
• Engage customers in front-end consulting engagements: strategy, tech analysis, ROI, and business plans.
• Collaborate to reduce risk and cost through early design and requirements gathering.
• Develop sales targets, marketing collateral, and industry presentations, as SME.
• Travel within New England as required.
