Applied Control is seeking a Business Development Manager - Automation (DeltaV) in Englewood, CO to lead customer relationships and opportunities across our automation portfolio. You will develop account plans, engage with customers, and collaborate with Emerson teams to win work and deliver value.

The role emphasizes solution selling, field presentations, and long-term relationship building with clients while coordinating with account managers and project teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• Previous technical sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Excel and MS Office.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge aptitude.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support Inside Sales and Account Managers in systems sales.
• Assist project management during execution phases.
• Apply solution selling to understand customer needs and build trusted advisor status.
• Convey technical information to customers clearly.
• Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to groups.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients in the territory.
• Lead development of overall sales strategy and drive profits.
